I have one of those. What I don’t have is an exhaust fan that vents to the outdoors. Every time I use that pan it smokes up the house and sets off the alarms.
No smoke with the Ronco...it's soooo damn easy to use, leaves meat tender and juicy, too. Been usin' the same one for 12(?) years. Turkeys, steaks, roasts, fish...it doesn't disappoint. They're not expensive and don't take up an objectionable amount of counter space.
But one costs 20 dollars to screw up, the other who knows how much money, pain, regrets, time, the list could go on
