They’re both assumptions. One made a former Army officer turned academic and writer. One by the President of the United States. Neither maybe wrong, nor neither maybe correct. Imo, the threat is not letting this become the norm, because where do you draw the line. What happens when the next “caravan” is a half a million.

 

Dude the one and only thing that concerns me is having a secure border as any sovereign country has a right and a duty to have for and to their citizens. When Democrats give support to an open border concept they are beyond whacko.

Now this is a complete guess based on what you've previously written, but I gather that this issue is of high importance to you (if I'm wrong please correct me). If so, that's where we differ. It's of very low importance to me. I don't think there is a problem now...I feel that it's a manufactured issue. And I also think it's an extremely small (and wacko) group of Dems that want an "open border".
