While I agree they are all being overused I don't see survivor as just being a life and death thing. Survivor can cover any truly real major trauma.

They(R’s) should know that we(the sane people) of this country expect them to stand up and if they don’t. They will be voted out. This is why the Republicans won’t back down any longer. Dems should know that too, they should be worried that they won’t get any middle of the road folks. Look at what’s happening in ND even after BK got confirmed. The good side of this war is pissed. That’s not just R’s, C’s or L’s , it’s former D’s as well.

We’ve won one battle but the war is far from over. The Dems and the disgusting people that support them will not stop. They will do everything to try to gain power again. It’s up to us to say no. To say, no longer are we going to step aside and let you make false accusations just to get your way. No longer are we going to tolerate your insanity. No longer are we going to let you push your unpopular agenda down our throats just because we want to be seen as reaching across the isle. No more. The successful appointment of BK was a big win in that fight and while I disagree with a lot of what the R’s have and are doing, I’m very proud of 50 of them in the Senate for giving a big middle finger to the Dems.

I never understood why they can’t just tell them,”look we will always fight for your religious freedom but we are not going to make this country your religion.”

Because they WANT to make this country their religion. That's the definition of "evangelical".

Where the hell you you guys live?!!!

And, where/how/when did that become the meaning of Conservative? Hell, I don't know what any of these damn labels mean anymore.

And, while the answers are flowing, what are folks like me called that just want to be left the fuck alone?

Seriously though, you can carry on in life and not make one minute of your day anything to do with politics. I talk to people all the time who couldn't even tell me who Bret Kavanaugh is.

Yep, I could trust everyone else to make the right decisions. But that guy is not me. So I think you may have misunderstood. I'm talking about people who do not want government constantly being an intrusive factor into their lives on a daily basis. That's not Conservative?

I think that's Libertarian basically. Gary Johnson ran on that ticket in 2016. Their platform is small government, stay out of peoples lifes, minimal taxation, fiscally conservative and socially liberal. It describes me for the most part actually. Stay out of my face and don't take my money. If you want to worship God, Budda, Alla, I don't really care. Keep that to yourself as well. Marry who you want, but again don't ask for "special" rights on top of that.
Only problem with that "party" is it doesn't fit the narrative for either existing major party and the swamp dwellers will never let it get any traction. When it comes down to it, both like wasting your money on shit you don't like.
Protect our borders, maintain a military and build and improve infrastructure is all I want out of government.

That being said, right now the only sane choice is to side with the Republicans. The left is completely unhinged and can not be given any power at all. The Democrats of old are extinct. The libtards have taken that party hostage and went full on socialist. That needs to be defeated.

I'm willing to guess there are more socialist teachers than not right now. How do you think that is going to fare in our education system and the future voters?

My daughter has informed me that she is seeing a growing backlash against the commie teachers. It's kind of fascinating. I don't think this means it's turning a 180, but there appears to be a movement of rejecting modern liberalism with the youth. Check out Campus Reform, it's getting popular.

My daughter too absolutely rejects her woman’s studies class. Just does it to get her grade so she can move on.

    1) It appears that way until you step back and consider that's not likely the case in the flyover states. The urban kids are likely to tend democrat anyway by osmosis...for lack of a better term.
    2) I truly feel entitled youth eventually grow out of that stage when they get out of Mom's basement/out of the dorm room and get into the real world. Once they start earning a legit paycheck and a significant part of that is removed in the form of taxes, they tend to come around. P.J. O'Rourke wrote about that in his books. He thought liberalism was hip and cool until he grew up, slowed down on the keg stands and weed smoking and realized it was a dead end street philosophy.
Keep in mind a big part of the protesting/borderline rioting is paid protestors. The media is trying to spin it to make the masses believe this is what the country wants as a whole. Outside of a few large cities, did you see any protesting going on in your hometown? I didn't.
Get out and vote...for Republicans. The left definitely has an agenda and it doesn't benefit us.
