Duc, I hope you're right. If not, God help us.
On another note; have any of you actually looked back at the development of our society and noticed that every election cycle results in more and more liberal ideas that seem to be catching hold? We stubborn conservatives have, for the most part, been pushing those ideas back and winning but that's not going to last. Sooner or later this country will become socialist. Maybe it will take a long time before it becomes Marxist but Socialism is too inviting to the uninformed to be kept from advancing.

I would bet a dollar against a donut that the Sessions sign was put up first and then along comes a Beto supporter and plants a sign next to the Sessions sign. I also would double that bet that not one out of 10,000 Beto supporters have any knowledge of Beto's family history in the El Paso area. Beto himself has only been arrested a couple of times and yet he's a piker when it comes to his Dad and Granddad. Brushes with the law seem to be one of their hobbies.

Read up on the history of Progressivism, they've been around since the early 1900's.

Progressive-ism and Socialism are all one and the same except for the continued drift toward the popularity of the movement today. The degrees of their advancement seems to be gaining speed.

I'm not sure what part of my post you're asking about. If it's pointed to what conservatives have been pushing back against (and winning at this point) is more along the lines of tax reduction, immigration (although presently it's more of a stalemate) and regulation reduction. There are a few more that I don't have on the tip of my tongue.

    I would disagree.

Socialism has been around a long time and is basically collectivism at one level. Lots of variants of collectivism over the centuries, all bad. In the end though it must confiscate more and more and up repression to keep things 'equal' (except for the pigs in the farmers house). Because of that it eventually leads to a totalitarian rule. This is becoming the more popular leaning of the democrat party with many being out and out marxists.

Progressivism is this weird idea that we rule by science which totally ignores human nature. Thus everything should be under state control not to equalize things but to maximize efficiency. It ignores that people are running it and such traits we all have like greed. Further it totally ignores self interest. So it is actually anti-science as it ignores what science proves it incorrect. Rather than adapt it doubles down with more of the same. Thus it also flows toward a totalitarian rule but for different reasons. This was the bent of the democrat party for a while now but is fading as the young marxists take hold.

Both systems destroy freedom which is the engine of prosperity.

That’s the confusing part for me, though. The left generally tries to claim the high ground as it relates to science. But when it comes to gender, that whole science thing seems to go right out the window. Science would seem to disagree with this whole notion of gender fluidity.

    Socialism
    Universal basic income
    State provided healthcare
Every feminist fantasy (toxic masculinity, patriarchy, etc.)
    Tranny’s in the military
    White privilege
    Police as oppressors
    Antisemitism

    And on and on.

I don't see any of those as "catching hold", rather I see them as indicators that the people in charge of the DNC/Left are fucking insane and are further alienating themselves from real people. While those types make a lot of noise and get a lot of airtime, they don't make up a very large block of the voting populace. This is a really good time for a right/center candidate and/or party to really step up. That's more or less what Trump did - he's still hated by the far right because he's not really in line with them. The leftist media has done a really good job portraying him as a far right, racist, big business monster, but in reality, he's VERY socially liberal (except drugs - I really wish he'd soften the stance on weed, he'd probably win over tens of millions of voters and undo 90% of the damage the liberal media has done to him with that one single action).

I'm pretty sure there is a college course for every item on that list.

Most people here either grew up during a time or was taught in history the ill effects of socialism and communism. Now, those political ideologies are presented as the better way of life within our educational system.

It's a good thing there aren't jobs for most of the dipshits that are taking those classes now. Another reason they seem to be making so much noise - they've got nothing better to do than whine.

More than just gender. Claiming 'settled' science is another great example. Oh and Socialism will work this time fails logical analysis also.

I think they just get more media attention now. I don't believe they are gaining speed as fast as you think they are.

    That's nice.

Just remember that the enemy is pissed. And they will vote in droves this fall.

And when they have a Nubian Princess to rally behind they will vote in droves twice if not three times.

Republicans MUST motivate the vote in both election cycles or this nation is fucked.

    And that's not hyperbole.
