Idk about you guys but I have seen enough of Marquez and Honda, though he wins I want to see him win on a different machine. Put him on an Aprillia for all I care I’m just tired of him dominating so many races. Any thoughts ?

He'll be there as long as he's winning, which is going to be a long time.

Honda's pockets are deep enough that I don't think anybody could make him a better offer to lure him away, and Honda isn't going to let history repeat itself like they did with Rossi back in 2003 when they didn't do what it takes to keep their centerpiece happy.

Didn't he just sign another 2 year deal?

    There's no room at Yamaha.

Why does Marquez (or any rider) need to win on a different machine?

the ol'........ "maybe its just the bike allowing him to win so much and not him" trick that gets implanted in their brains by somebody/people somewhere down the road.

    Does not compute

Did you feel the same of Doohan for the 11 straight seasons he was on Honda in the GPs? I didn't.

If that was true, Dani, Cal and the other honder riders would be sweeping the podium every week. Marquez flat out rides that bike to the limit and beyond. Look how many times he crashed last year and still won the championship. Like him or hate him, he's a special talent and until his crashes start to hurt, he's not going to be slowing down any time soon. He's the only one who consistently has the honder at the pointy end, and money and championships usually trump all else to these guys.

But Cal has the pace to win every weekend and could have won every weekend. He just <insert BS excuse here>.

My only issue is the total domination of races I mean come on do we not have new riders that can compete with him and team aprillia needs to get some champion racers

You don't like getting your ass beat week in and week out? Step up your game! Build a better bike than honder! Find a better rider! Eat more pie!

  18. Yeah, it's definitely time for any rider over the age of 25 to retire, to make room for the up-and comers.

Was I bored of Doohan and Honda domination during that time? Especially the championship runs? Yes! I believe Doohan's domination was one of the reasons World Superbike became so popular. There were different faces up front, and actual racing.

He has won one race out of the first three. This isn't 2014.
He's not going anywhere, and MotoGP is just fine for it.
