Same. Won't be forgetting #69 every WSBK race I watch. But go Jake! Good solid finish for a new move. Happy to see him out there and running well.
I'm guessing he burnt up his rear tire because he kept looking back at it. They said he was the slowest rider on track a couple laps from the finish. Given how his rear tire blew up on him at Donnington a while back I can see how a shaky feeling rear tire would make him get gun-shy.
Solid full time debut for Jake. About 7 seconds off from Camier over race distance isn't bad with all things considered. Can't wait to see how he does as time goes on. I do miss Nicky though
Fyi, the Go90 app worked perfectly. Was even in h.d. excited I can watch the races finally and even better there's a couple of good Americans racing.
Idk how Melandri could continuously stay in the gas and brake with the way the Duc wobbled by the end of the straight.. props to him, great race
Maybe a trade-off in the triples offset for handling vs stability? It looked ultra uncomfortable.. borderline almost violent lol
It was literally ridiculous looking seeing Syke and Melandri side by side going down the front straight and the differences between how the Kawi and Duc looked.
