Oh God how I wish I didn't have to cart my shit around. I guess I'm used to it and I don't know any other way. The registration does suck ass, and if you don't register and tech on the certain Fridays they open for an hour or two, you could potentially miss a round of practice Saturday morning because it gets crazy busy. The announcer is named David I think. He does spice it up a good bit and he likes to banter in the mornings before the on track action starts.
And you're right about the number plates. I get talked to about mine all the time. One week they're fine, and the next time, same dude, gives me a hard time.
I miss racing with Wera, but all of my local tracks are CCS focused, and my closest one(Summit) only has CCS. I race an SV and still have to ask people what classes I can race in, lol. I guess I’m just stupid because I just can’t seem to figure out their class structure. They seem nice enough and run an orderly race day, but it’s just not the same. Hoping Wera makes it back there someday.
I think the schedule is posted up. Only three rounds right now...PittRace, VIR, and NJMP No Summit sadly Are all the races 4 hours or 6?
http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/n2wera-superbike-challenge-endurance-schedule-released/ crossing my fingers on the "tentative" Barber date being confirmed
FWIW - Barber is something we will look at for sure but the numbers have got to work. Track rental there went up yet again this year at one of the most expensive places we run. It takes damn near a full endurance grid to just pay the bills. Partial grids can lose a bunch of money.
^^^ what he said. Just thought it worth noting in this thread, we've seen a few posts expressing concern/confusion over the lack of purse. The press release was just highlighting the fact that Orion/Pirelli will be adding contingency to the mix, those are NOT the purse payouts.
