Now please.......lets stick to talking about Mr.Rogers time as a navy Seal. Thats what I always heard......and that he had full sleave tattoos from his time in the navy,and thats why he always wore sweaters to cover them up.

 

From what Ive heard...Mr.Rogers was indeed a sincere loving man in real life.
Some peg leg reporter was assigned to do a story on Mr.R..
The reporter didn't want to,and was a surly guy.
After meeting Mr R.. his life was changed,and they became life long friends,and
the whole experience changed the guys life.
As for Hanks,not sold he would be the best character for this role?
My old room mate would have been perfect..No shit!! the guy looked just like Mr.Rodgers,but was cool and rode bikes

 

Yeah, i'll pass too. I have to admit, first time I saw Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, I thought "what is this silly crap?" . Of course, I was 10 so a bit out of it's target demographic.

 

I'd rather watch Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood.

 

As lame as this "idea" is from Hollywood...it will make money. The masses will think this is amazing.
