Why do I dislike Oprah Winfrey?

Is it because she trumpets hokey science and horseshit philosophy? Is it her concentration on dumb materialistic possessions which arent motorcycles? Is it her mindless mouth breathing followers who hang on her every word? Hmm, maybe because she's black. Black folk crazy.

 

Is she still on the TV or news aside from her fat-ass commercials?

They want her to run for President. You know that since a "reality star" won they believe anybody can and should be President now.

Just like with the Uccios, it's the way grown-ass people slurp her like puppies.

 

She won a lifetime achievement award at the Golden Globs last night. She made some supposedly hugely inspirational speech. Now she is all the talk about running for President in 2020. I am no fan, but in my opinion, she would be better than Bernie, Warren, Harris or some of the other far left wing nut jobs out there.

 

I can't help but wonder what kinda skeletons she might have in her closet that when ever she's asked about a Presidential run she replies with an emphatic NO, or used to.

Not that there's any chance we can ever get rational responses by the liberal types, on any issue really, but I just have to wonder how or why give her the Messiah-like status when we've ALL seen the photo's of her rubbing shoulders with numerous hacks like Weinstein?

I mean, she's all for the advancement of all things women's agendas, all while giving the Hollywood Weinstein's a kiss? Hypocrite much?

Better???? I'd love to hear the how's and why's???

 

It's not the first time. When the buzz got too loud last year, she finally came out and denied that she had any interest in doing that.

 

Totally respects wimmen, and anyone that gets wimmen a job.

 

Why the hell would she want to be President? She’s mega rich, well loved by many sycophants, and extremely influential. The Presidency would be a step down especially considering the shit pay. The only reason for her to run is that she’s bored and wants to satiate a huge ego. See: Trump

 

Not one of them, including Oprah, has apologized for turning a blind eye and not only allowing, but encouraging the sexual harassment. Not one.
Weinstein was just fine when he meant jobs but now lets all act high and mighty now that he is useless. Oh, and dont mention Woody Allen. Dont want to ruin those jobs prospects.

Hollywood. The only place more disgusting than DC.

 

It would be a damn big pay cut. She's within spitting distance of Trump's net worth.

 

She at least knows how to build and run a multi-million dollar business. Sure she will fight for liberal causes, but she seems less of a" socialist" than the folks I listed. I have more of a problem with the socialist agenda (big government money handouts) than the left wing social agenda (equal rights, etc.).

 

Oprah had/has nothing to fear from Weinstein. ( or any casting couch ).

What did she build other than her brand and getting stoopid liberals to tune into her TV show. Becoming famous and then turning your fame into mega dollars is a far cry from building an upstart business.

Simular to when people always make comments about how Micheal Jordan is such a great business man. Of course it had nothing to do with his ability to play basketball.

 

Nah MJ just has/had great "money managers" and the loot the make interest off interest.

 

Didn't Trump say something along the lines of maybe picking Oprah as running mate? And everyone said how delusional he was for thinking she would be a good running mate?

 

The list of very famous people that were not able to turn their fame into long term mega-dollars is a lot longer than those like Oprah and MJ, so she must be doing something right. Even if it is understanding how to properly invest for long term success, that is way better than the snake oil Sanders, et. al. is selling.

 

Not saying they didn’t do anything right. It’s obvious they have a skill to build wealth but to attribute it to a business or running a business is pure fantasy.

 

First of all, it's not like she was famous for being famous, or putting out a sex tape. She had a job. It made her famous and wealthy. And she leveraged the shit out of it.
