I don't think the weight or power quoted in the article are achievable, and it sure is fugly. Sounds expensive, too, but I'd sure like to see it happen.

If they hit those numbers and it goes into production for real I wouldn't care what it looked like. A proper paint job can make many bikes look better.

I really do hope someone revives the 2 strokes.
Bring back the true race bikes that are built for one purpose.
Not a street bike converted to track bike. There is a difference, and we lost that by putting 2 strokes out to pasture.
The 500 and 250 bikes would have been awesome had they been given todays advancements, and more time.

  7. It looks like one of the Aliens from Independence Day fucked a CBR600 in the tailpipe, got it pregnant, it gave birth, and then the half Alien/half CBR600 baby took a shit....giving us that.

"There are no welds on the bike—it is bolted or bonded together to save weight"...How do bolts weigh less than welds?

The only real funky part to me is the split exhaust, the rest of it is fine. If the weight and HP numbers are true, it will be a whip.

its a 2cyl 2-stroke man. each cylinder needs a chamber, only so many config options. this is reminiscent of that old aprilia RSW racer to me. i likey. better than the V-due with its weird bends all dumb

I realize that, but if they ran the exhausts parallel to each other(if possible) it would just look better, to me.

Weight is crazy low but those power numbers should be achievable. At least I hope they are!
And someone will make prettier bodywork.

With a monocoque chassis theres not much to weld.
