When "we" make that comment, we aren't talking about fans; we are talking about racers. When Joe Blow decides to start his own racing org, it isn't going to magically bring in 300 new racers and it isn't going to double the salary of current racers. It is only going to mean current racers will have another option and may choose to skip weekends with other orgs to race with Joe Blow. THAT is what we mean by "cutting the pie into smaller pieces". New racing orgs do not mean more racers, they mean the current racers are split between more orgs.
I don't disagree with that. I was just addressing his perceived idea that someone could be mid/back pack on a 600, then decide to race an SV for this class, save money, and be a front runner. Chances are they would spend even more money, and/or still be mid/back pack.
They already mentioned minimum weight numbers that is why I brought up HP numbers. I agree... open it up
Guys get stealthy with toggle switches for maps they can switch on the fly. One map makes 75 hp the other makes 80hp. There's other things you can do to. They would probably find it but you could have a throttle stop as well.
If you talk down about lightweight racing I'm gonna pit haphazardly next to you at every race and hide random bolts in the paddock.
Why not? Yea it won't make it past if they tear the whole motorcycle apart. Complete disassmebly after every race? I think not
