Many of you know or have seen this bike in the upper mid-west (Brained International Raceway, Road America) and now in the greater mountain area (High Plains Raceway, Miller Motorsports Park). 2009 Yamaha R1 84xx miles (Milwaukee Yamaha BSB race replica from Blown Concepts) September 2012 bike of the month on the R1 forum I bought this track weapon October of 2014 and she’s seen only track time since. I also have most of the parts needed to ride the mean streets of where ever you live (additional cost). The stock harness is all there and ready to reconnect whatever lights you see fit. Clean MN title in hand, bike is located in Broomfield Colorado (just outside Boulder). Ohlins forks that were on the bike have been sold and replaced with the cartridge stock units on the the bike now. Tail section has a repairable hole, upper fairing on the right side of the wind screen was cracked as well. 10K for the bike as it sits. Stock parts including aftermarket bodywork painted in white available for additional cost. If a suitable agreement is not met in the next few weeks, I'll be selling off parts and returning it to stock...no orders being taking until I post the parts. "Cold" start (73 degrees) Additional pics are always available, just got sick of resizing them on a separate site.
have my eyes on another rare (hope it doesnt go down) bike...buy this so I can get into some trouble on a screamer!
Honestly, It DID look cooler with the Bling Ohlins forks, Brembo CNC calipers, Oversized Brembo rotors and BST CF wheels but getting rid of those parts funded some pretty cool track time AND I was able to replace them with more practical parts (Stock wheels, cartridge stock forks, floating rotors, SBK pads in stock calipers, stock wheels). Keep in mind, this IS a clean titled street bike if need be. If I absolutely have to, I will part it out, return it to street trim and sell it on. In most cases, I will need a stock donor part from you.
Beautiful bike, set up nearly identical to my R1. At your asking price it's a killer deal which people don't see for it to not be sold yet. If you part it, you'll easily make $15,000 selling the big item part cheap, that will go fast.
Thank you for the kind words. I completely agree on the part out option and am prepared to do just that. With all the stock parts in my shed, I should be able to make 6k on the stock bike alone.
move this bike! Every night when I work on my hawks and 600rr's I can hear it whispering to me...."please don't part me out, please!"
Can't believe you are doing this buddy. Solid Bike. Helped him when he first got it. Very solid well cared for bike.
Seriously, it sucks to do it but I found a few other things I like better. Now including ALL street stuff, (extra set of forks, shock, bodywork, lights, rear sets etc)!
Now sourced the last of the stock parts (forks). All stock parts will go with the bike now if someone can take it all for 10k cash. June 1st is the part out date if a deal can not be made...don't hate me if you were waiting on a check from the tax man after that date.
