Well, my contact with a capable jeep and winch in that area now lives in midtown so you're a month or so too late - sorry!

Hush. Mine has been a pickup truck with a cap on it the last two weeks - that's use! :D

Those two inch concrete curbs are hell on a Jeep. Be more careful next time.

  12. Mine has sat at the airport and is a fishing rod transport vehicle. Last time I was off-road is when I took Alex on his maiden voyage and that was mellow stuff.

  13. It's tough when soccer moms at the mall cut you off.

It was stuck pretty good. had to borrow a winch to get out. My hight school buddy is in town visiting. So it was a good laugh. Problem where it was stuck was not easily accessible by 4x4's.

  16. Might have to revoke your mancard needing a tow out of that.

Hey Doug, you will be on my speed dial. Figured that I need to ad a winch and a shovel to my list of bits

It was stuck all right. Kind of hard to see in the pics. Tried rocking it back and forward, tree limbs under tires, shoveled dirt out... nope, only with a winch it came out.

Been there. Took my Cherokee to the tank proving grounds near Ft. Knox...cruising along a dirt road saw two lines of water. What I didn't know was they were 4' deep. Jeep just grounded itself in the middle. Oops!
