LOL....Well, we'll have to revisit those countries once they start taking in hundreds of thousands of refugees.

All 4 of those countries are patheticly "politcally correct". They push on children that you cannot even identify yourself by gender,as we are all the "same".No more identifying by being a boy or girl. Take a trip there sometime.......its very eye-opening and discouraging to see where we are headed.......down the shitter!! As far as the refugee thing goes......yeah they think everyone else should house and feed the refugees, because they do not have them on such a large scale that many of the countries that do have them are dealing with. Fuck'em

Come on, they take in refugees.

    Resettlement Quotas in Scandinavia

The Nordic countries in Scandinavia cooperate closely with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in seeking solutions to various refugee matters.

In all five countries, the annual resettlement quotas for each fiscal year must be approved by parliament. The yearly quotas vary from country to country, from under 100 resettlement places in Iceland to 1,000-1,800 refugees resettled in Sweden. In between are Denmark with 500 places, Finland with 750-1,000 places, and Norway with 1,500 places.

I don't understand all this anti-Capitalism. The fact is that no other country in the World comes close to the generosity (although, legislated) that the US exhibits.
Our welfare program is Communism at its finest. At least by socialist standard, some effort is required to received benefits. Or at minimum, be a benefit to society to be rewarded with a fair share.

Not true...only....no country comes close to the generosity that is NON legislated. There would be even more generosity were it not for all the legislation.

Voting with your conscious is better than voting for a person just because you think they can win. I'd say a vote for someone you know is a F up is more of a wasted vote than voting for someone you think is the right person for the job. A vote for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil.

I would gladly gift my current tax amount to a returning veteran (or veteran in need), or a scholarship fund for any worthy student, than trust the distribution to politicians.

I think it was Denmark that I read somewhere the other day that don't take in refugees, or at least very few of them. Even the leaders of that country say there is no way Bernie's plan would ever work here. He said it might work if you only did it in one state, but that this country is to big, and has to many people for what they do their to ever work here.

I earned my right to vote. I value that right. That vote will go to a person of value. At this moment, no candidate, at any level has my vote.

You mean Countries where there is less government regulation on business and with a different cultural, work ethic and population density? Yes, it work for them. For now. Do you hear it? The ticking!

Don't worry, it ticks here for an entirely different reason.

BTW - it should be consider that in the European countries where so-called Socialism is working, employers pay little contribution but pay higher wages. And, the large part of employee tax value goes into a private pension.

We still do better at taking care of those that never planned for their future, or landed badly for one reason or the other. Drugs included.

What both sides should be addressing is diminishing the power of the Federal government but that does not make for good political theater.
