The swingarm and rear suspension linkage are a little different but not enough that it really matters.
Well it's a real pile but runs and has wheels what not, just has shit plastics and a shit seat. But for $300 I don't think I can go wrong.
thats a ragged out late 90s model. I would check the cam tower real close. Also check the pickup screen in the clutch cover... those bikes can run without oil...
engine is the same, forks and wheels also. the exhaust is different, the seat, tank and plastics also. you can change the mounting tabs and mount the new plastics and tank if you wanted to. something looks really wrong with that exhaust btw.. i have parts off a 98 for sale if you get it and want a seat etc
If it runs and the oil is not silver, it's probably worth $300. Or you could just spend $600 and get one that's not a total pile of shit.
but to answer your question, the forks if straight are worth 100$, the rear wheel 100$ front probably the same. then the engine if in good condition is worth 2-300$
worth $300 if it runs through all the gears. the tank is correct for a 2000, only year the 1st gens had a red tank. Ive got one:
That is a mutt bike. The body style changes in 01 so that is a 2000 or older. Someone has put a late model rear fender on it because the later seats both through the 2 holes in the back. Also has a later model exhaust which obviously doesn't fit right. The motors are pretty much the same from 85-new when they went to electronic ignition. It's worth $200 in parts honestly. Pop the valve cover with a 10mm wrench. See if you can wiggle the cam up and down while its bolted in. If you can, the cam and head are toast. Either way, figure new piston/rings/bore Valves, springs You're looking at $250 in parts if the head is ok. But daddy has you covered as I've built about 10 of these in the last few months and have LOTS of good spares and cores.
