    What an XR100 rear shock looks like when cut open?
    I did, so I cut one open. I will be putting it back together too.

    TWF2 2 heads are better than 1

    Almost identical to KW car shock.
    Put stiffer spring on the top of that shim, or more preload :)

    You can see the small spring at the bottom? That is a cone shaped one. That is the compression valve. I might have to get a shim that will go under it. Ha/

    No, that is check valve. Compression is still in the tube.

    You are right. I forgot about the base valve. Haven't torn into that part yet.

    This was the sacrificial lamb. Now I know how to set it up to be able change oil in them.

    Mine is different from that the bottom mount was threaded on.

    It is on a 2008 CRF100.

    Believe it or not that is a teachers and that was a class engineering project. They also build electric cars and off-road motorcycle powered stuff. He rides with us on the mini bikes I have yet to see that bike in person yet.

    There is a company out of Wisconsin (I think) that makes efi kits and efi and turbo kits for small engines.
