[/IMG] For you Honda RS250 fans..It is a 2001 I raced with that other org last weekend at VIR. First time in about 9 years. It was not pretty after sitting for 9 years but Steve Long and Dave Trotter at SpeedWerks brought it back from the dead. Thank you Steve and Dave! Mostly stock but was fun to ride after so many years. It takes a another level of commitment to really ride it fast...much, much harder than the easy to ride SV.....or I may just be saying I am too old or scared for it now. ....lol And no it is not for sale. That sign was made by Scott Harwell in April when it was not looking very good....he put $500 on it at the time.
One of those raced the TT some years back. Ballsy. Yo Chris ... Learn yaself: http://www.odd-bike.com/2013/03/vyrus-motorcycles-hub-centre-perfection.html -jim
I love some funny bannings! Like Steeltoe getting a day for disagreeing with Papa on how hot a chick was Lol. Good stuff
Stupid Broome. . . anyways, someone ran a GTS1000 in AMA super teams back in 94 or 95 if I remember right. Team Shamu? One of the guys was mark cruz or something like that. Shit if I can remember, I drank in those days. Keeeeeeeel Broome!
This and I mean this not the watered down whatever they actually produce... And a spare 1290 engine for my RC8
Yes, Rob had to build clip-ons of the correct material/thickness to reduce/eliminate the vibrations(harmonics) to the rider. Robby Jensen raced it a couple years at Brainerd and MAM. He also looped it while wheelying it. :-D
They did with the YB10 and the SB6.I do know that the two models I mentioned, the motors are tweaked a bit.The gauges look as though they were made by a jeweler. The YB10,even though it was an early 90s bike, the frame is gorgeous.
Check WSBK Phillip Island ,yr 2000. Waystoid Anthony Gobert lapped over half the field in the wet on a SB8. Got it on DVD
