FZR 400 peeps, is this a no brainer? http://madison.craigslist.org/mcy/3568806992.html I have a buddy who lives in the Madison area that can get it for me. Anything in particular he should look for? I'll keep it a street bike.
Let's put it this way, you can't lose on a deal like that. If you don't like it you can easily make your money back.
While I don't disagree that this is a good buy, there is something about it being a 400/600 that makes it less desirable in my book.
One thing is that it cant be a 632cc engine. 2mm over should be 636. Also chassis behind that bike has an older Fox from what it looks like.... See if he wants to part with the spare chassis and let me know. Good deal for $800 and it runs!
For street use, it is hard to fit a fan behind the 600 radiator. I've tried computer muffin fans, but wasn't really up to a Phx summer. YMMV.
I didn't follow up on it, variety of reasons. Just not the right time. Still like to get an FZR 400 someday.
