What age are you guys planning to retire at? Or did retire at?

Some people love what they do, but I'll be damned if I'm going to clock into a job any longer than I have to. It's my friggin' life, my friggin' time. 29 years old now. I'm checking out by 50. 55 at the latest.

    Got a plan for that?

If so, it probably shouldn't include a wife, kids, any unexpected illness or accidents, job loss etc.

Yeah, or crooked bankers / wall street wrecking the economy and taking all your money with it.

The way things are going and with where I think we're headed I don't honestly know if I'll be able to retire. I can see having to drag myself out here to work at 70.

Aiming at 55. The downside is that no man in my family has lived past 54. So I'll feel like a winner if I see 55 either way really.

Plan your own retirement don't depend on your employer's plans. I've seen many many retirees back at work because that employer provided investment tanked.
