Not so sure about that. The early commit date means no bikes left unsold. And Honda is one of the few games in town in Moto3 for regular customers, no?
Hey, shyster, did you check out the thread by the lady trying to find out what happened in her son's accident?
I ain't no real motorcycle industry guru but why would they be bringing over these bikes that no one is gonna buy when they can't even afford a Superbike team?
I just don't see how it could cost that much. They can come out with a brand new CRF250R every couple years and price it at 7k. I don't see how this little RS has more R&D money in it - the frame is typical RS125R, and the engine might be all-new, but then again, so is the CRF every couple years.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say they produce quite a few more CRFs than they will the moto3 bikes. Prob the much smaller production run driving the price up.
For a complete ready to race gp bike and if it's anything like the 125's a spares kit it's not that bad all in all.
I bet it sells just like this little gem that's been wasting away on ebay for several months now.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KTM-...0556657443QQptZUSQ5fmotorcycles#ht_500wt_1182
