Up for sale is my 1995 Ford Shuttle Bus conversion. It is in amazing shape and has worked wonders for me this past season. Due to a work schedule conflict, I won't be racing on Sunday's this year so I will not need a place to sleep at the track. This is one of the coolest vehicles I have ever seen and as much as I want to keep it, it doesn't make sense to keep it in storage all year and not sleep in it once. 1995 Ford E-350 shuttle bus conversion / race hauler Gas V-8 engine (15mpg fully loaded) 117,000 miles Engine was recently tuned up with all new fluids everywhere. The best part is you register it as an old van, so registration costs are MINIMAL. And you insure it as a small RV so insurance costs are MINIMAL. It is so nice not having to tow anything and for the cost, this is much cheaper than any sleeper toy hauler out there. I am asking $7,500. I can drive it from my home in Lakewood, CO to Phoenix, SLC, NM for an addition cost. The pictures: email me for more pictures, video walk through, or more information[email protected]
It really is designed to only sleep 2 in the front section. However I have blown up an air mattress in the back part just fine. Either side, you are protected from the elements, and quite comfortable I might ad.
Brilliant conversion Just awesome. Did you do conversion work? I was gonna do the same with this one :
that is so sweeeeeeeet man!! wish i could buy it, but id also wouldnt be able to afford to store it here with the socal prices (and already own a trailer) whoever buys this is getting a bitchin' ride!
Im sure it will be difficult, but could you get me a little better pictures of the storage area in back? Id like to see what kind of space I would be working with around the bikes for tires/wheels etc.... Thank you, you can email me photos or video to ben at mototireusa dot com.
I got photos and video coming as soon as this snow lets up. It is the 7.5 Liter Gas V8. Fully loaded it still got me around 15mpg heading to the track.
How strong is the motor...for towing Featherlite open trailer and Subaru track car? I could use it for my bikes and my bro use it for his car. Currently hauling with 5 cylinder, Mercedes deisel motor Sprinter van. Sprinter works OK but lags a bit on the steeper hills and no sleepin setup.
Unfortunately it doesn't have a tow hitch. It is pretty heavy in the rear as it is fully packed so I don't think you would be able to tow anything. More pictures.
Thanks for the photos. Do you have a slightly more specific location. Ive got a buddy who lives in Colorado and Im considering having him swing by and take a look at it for me.
