I've got a hankerin for a 1000cc twin for 80% trackday 20% race (if that makes sense) use.

Not interested in going the Duc route again.

What sez the beeb? Seems to be loads of good finds for around the same money.

The rc51 is a better pacakge out of the box, but I love throwing my tlr around the track now that I have a new rear suspension.

Either one of those TL's are awesome. I know Glenn from the TL site, have spoken a few times, great guy and absolutely amazing bike.

For me, Papa Thiam has ruined any notion of ever wanting to race, ride or stand near a RC51.

Gotta be honest, 51 was what I set out for, but then I remembered how much I loved my street TL-S. Still kinda kicking this around, and probably not in "buy mode" until dec-jan.

Just grabbing intel at this point.

    Keep the pros/cons coming.

I've had both and favored the TLR . Always felt I sat "on" the RC whilst "in" the TLR. Both have V Twin boogie and are a blast to ride.
