I'm going to be taking the riders school at Grattan on the 15th and was curious if anyone had any opinions between the A superbike or formula 1 sprint for a first race on Sunday? Based on the rulebook I dont believe my bike is superstock legal so those would be my only 2 options.
Depending on your bike; do as many as you can. most of us have super stock legal bikes and run all three classes. the more races you can get into the better and more confident you will become. seat time is key :up:
What mods have you done? Either of those classes will work really, they're about the same turnout and same bikes.
ohlins in the back..... ak20 in the front.... yoyo slipper.... but the big one is the engine has been modified. I'm unsure to what extent since the work was done before my owning.
Make it a point to find out what was done to your bike. You may be legal for all the classes, but more importantly, You'd like to know if you need to see a specialist to get work done or replacement parts from Italy. The suspension is legal.
Absolutely. It was my intention to get it freshened up this winter but I ended up with quite abit else to do on the bike to get it suited to me..... so that got pushed back. I have been using my '07 for trackdays and I found this '04 to handle quite different. So I have been making alot of changes to close the difference in feel between the two.
Heavy Solo doesn't work for his first weekend taking the school on the 15th. But for future events yep.
