Yup, sets record on lap 3, then breaks it again on lap 4, yards the field, and relaxes through the balance of the 8. Fun to watch. But kudos to a lot of fast Midwest CCS racers as well. Also nice to see the improvements the new track owner has made; rumors about a new 4 mile track coming up with the recent land purchases also....stay tuned.

 

??? I hadn't heard that one. I heard about expansion, but i thought it was only going to tack on around another .5 mile

No its not balderdash....He has bought a lot of land up around the track. I haven't talked to him about it yet. He has been racing his GT1 at RA and BHF(when we've been at RA). If Tom told you...then there is a very good chance of it happening!

Also, Dan Ortega set the 600cc lap record at bhf this weekend! I found that out today. 1.08.8##? Wow He chatted it up early in the year saying he was gonna break into the 8's.

 

I've seen this guy "cadillac" doing 17's at Jennings and then (from what it looked like) just played around and shot the breeze towards the end of the race. He was backin it and power sliding out just to put on a show I say congrats to him!!
