in Md they did that a few years ago & lost . If it is not stolen etc , they have no right to do anything with it . I have a friend who buys at the tow yards & auctions . Makes most of his money parting it out ... selling that stuff on E-Bay & Craigslist . He does have some sort of bill of sale on most stuff . Chop shop or used parts yard , only difference is steam is coming off the chop shop parts ( edit : visually is what I meant ) .
