Surprising - The k9 got second? A lot of the other moto news sources are saying the K9 is a let down and MCN had the R1 1+ sec ahead in track times. I trust masterbike more though.

Not surprised about the Aprilia though. I'd kill to ride one of those. Just for the engine sound if noting else.

I just wish they would release a price for the RSV4 here in the US, so I can decide if owning one is even within reason for me.

The new R1's looks are growing on me when I see it in the flat black paint scheme

am i the only one that finds the KC8 hideous, thinks the MV is waaaaay overdue for a makeover, and that the Ducati is the sexiest superbike out now.

I just don't think I can justify spending 20 grand on a bike, and then putting race fairings on it and taking to the track to beat the shit out of. That would also most likely result in my girlfriend finally killing me in my sleep.

It will probably be priced comparable to the Duc 1198S although I would say the Ape will be the far better value between the two...

the 999 is still the sexiest bike out now.

But I agree the MV looks outdated and hopefully the HD takeover has allowed MV R&D to restart.

The KTM reminds me of a lamborghini countach so I love it

the 999 is sexy but im sorry the 1098/1198/848 has it beat.

yeah, singside swingarm aside, the Duc is still the sexiest.

i personaly liked the 999 look, the 1098 looks like a quick throw together to apease the old faithfull that liked the 916-998 look, but thats just my opinion, so far from what i have seen i didnt care for alot of the fit and finish on the 1098's, however the bike does get up and go

    ^ youre nuts. :)

that KTM is hideous tho... i like the Ape, except for the stock pipe. i wanna see it with aftermarket pipes, say a LV or Akra or something, gonna be one nasty street bike too.
