There's been some talk of Flight 1549 and the airplane's troubles roughly four hours before its last departure. Something about EGT being too high, an in-flight restart etc. Sure, there's video, still photos and voice-recordings. Hell, I wonder why Sully didn't turn back to try and land the thing he was on heading 270, half-way through his turn back at 3,000 feet, afterall. Seriously, WTF? I think the airplane was hit by a missile launched from some terrorists on a boat in the East River, or possibly even a formation of enemy aircraft in the area that went un-detected by radar. The government doesn't want you to know.
Maybe you don't know, but a plane can't take off from a treadmill. That is impossible... And I'm sure someone will come along to argue my point for all of us to enjoy.
I'm not an expert on jet engines, but I thought geesing the engines was part of normal maintenance...
