Stop doing this to me!!! Flat black is soo nice! I've posted it before but this is my friend's '49 Merc murdered out.
Don't know why but i'm a fan of the 1970 GTO.....i was just talking to a buddy at work yesterday about wanting one......and happend to find on cheap on the old craigslist........maybe i'll have a new hobby soon if i'm lucky!
Don't know exactly what it is, but I really like the flat Periwinkle paint. The cheesy fake bullet holes really turn me off, though. I have a bunch of shots of cool rat-rods from a car show this weekend, some even have paint.
Pretty much any Aston Martin, new or old. Lotus Seven, Colin Chapman's "4-wheeled motorbike"... not pretty but cool... technically this is a clone.
I don't have a pic handy, but the 1968 Hurst Olds Cutlass is my favorite muscle car ever. I think it's essentially a 442 but with the 455 motor and other mods. AFAIK it's the fastest production Oldsmobile ever built. I like all of the early Cutlasses, but the 68 has the cool split headlight of the early cars and really supe rextra cool very thin low-profile tail lights. I'll try to find a pic later.
The Seven reminded me of this... and with the submarine option package New Esprit is in the works too
Prefer a 70 or 71 myself, but they are all lookers. I have a 71 Cutlass Supreme (wish it was 442, but what can you do).
A couple that I Autocross with have this Noble M400 http://detroit-scca.org/e107/e107_plugins/coppermine_menu/displayimage.php?pid=1870&fullsize=1
