We have our 2007 GSX-R1000's and we have put them on our Dynojet 250i Dyno. It is a brand new bike with 4 heat cycles and 30 miles worth of dyno time. The bikes are strapped down the same way and have 30psi in the stock tire. The bike has VP 114 fuel. We use VP 114 because we know it is fresh and has no contaminates and it is extremely stable. 114 WILL NOT raise the hp. In fact it would make more (only very slightly) with pump gas. Also, these are production bikes picked up at Ron Ayers Motorsports in Greenville, NC. They are not pre-production race team specials... Here is what you are looking at: Blue: Stock Red: w/ LeoVince Slip-Ons Green: w/ LeoVince Corsa Full System Purple: LeoVince Corsa Full System w/ VP MR9 (87 octane) Pink: 2006 GSX-R1000 Stock
Now.....about the switch. Mode A is full power: Blue Line Mode B part throttle is not shown because it appears to only change the power at part throttle. Basically it softens the "hit" but doesn't peak any different than Mode A. This would be difficult to illustrate on a dyno graph. Mode C: Red Line Note: You can change between maps instantaneously....
i didn't know it was that much of a diff. I rode the first k7 we got in and knew it felt a good bit stronger but that's a heck of a jump
holy crap thats a good bit of power! i guess my old 01 with 152hp wont be pulling on any of them, lol.
Looks good Chip...Tell Kevin ill be uncrating ours this week and to make ppl feel better, Ill post up same charts (we have same dyno, break bikes in similar im sure, and my rider Dan Lippis WMRRA #1 will be running Leo Corsa PIpes and VP MR fuel) So that way folks can see further proof...only diff is your on that coast that sees the sun come up..and i getta see it set! *for comparision...what do you see on 600 and 750's for 07? My dyno shows: 600 (all approx) Stock 107 Pipe 114 Pipe/VP 117 Pipe/VP/SS build 124 750 Stock 127 Pipe 134 Pipe/VP 137 Pipe/VP/SS build 151 Should be interesting to see the differences..you dont have to quote SS numbers, i know some are hesitant too...i dont care...nothing to hide. thanks chip!
peak horsepower @ 12,500rpm = way to much peak torque ft/lbs@ 9700rpm = way to much 2007 gixxer 1k = scares the shit out of smokes.
speaking of KWS bikes, yesterday i got to ride haner's old superstock bike at jennings. now, i know i'm a lowly SV rider and all , but damn that muther was almost too fast. i was blown away how retarded fast it was. i've never been on anything remotely close to that. i've ridden some fast 750's in the past, but this thing was on a different planet. DAAAAAAAAMMMNNNN!
Yep....we see the same numbers here... I will be intresting to see your results....because damn! This thing is a monster!!
if you chrome the "Chingous Capicitor" you would have made 201 hp Chrome "The Fastest way to slow a bike down"
personally having peak Tq that high is good for keeping wheel spin down! Now if we can just keep the valve train all season
