Anyone have any experience with the quick disconnect fuel coupler on their tz250? I heard from a few people that starting the TZ will be a beeyatch after installing it.

I used one on my endurance bike a few years back and the o-rings seemed to get twisted and roll out of place if not inserted slowly and smoothly; hmm if I wasn't in a hurry I wouldn't need the darn thing. Anyway I gave up on it and just disconnect hoses when I need to get carb/tank off.

I have one on my '99 250 TZ - and have had zero problems with it. Plus side (obviously) is quicker/easier tank removal for upper cylinder jet changes.......

I have one on my newly acquired 2000 TZ250 and no problems so far. As Charlie said, it is way easier uncoupling from the side.
I have heard here and there about vapor lock and such but I think it's an urban legend or some moron didn't install it right. Best of luck to you.

I've used one on my 400 since 1997. Never a problem, ever.

Well I didn't get vapor lock, but make sure that you press it in ALL THE WAY and metal lever pops in place. Otherwise no fuel will flow, than you'll look like a moron http://www.wera.com/ubb/frown.gif trying to figure out why the bike died suddenly when your rushing to make practice... http://www.wera.com/ubb/smile.gif
