Just want to thank all who showed up in Savannah to help make the All Vintage races a huge success. We had a huge turnout including seven sidecar teams, several riders from across the pond and north of the border, Team Obsolete with their outstanding machines and many many Vintage racers from across the country! The BBQ the next day on the St. Johns river was a blast as well. For those who missed it you may not know that Rick works for Nat Geo in his spare time. http://www.wera.com/ubb/tongue.gif He was taking folks out on the pontoon and showing off every nook and cranny of wildlife and plantlife... it was really spectacular to see such an unusual environment. I Also had fun blasting around on his Jet Ski dodging alligators. It really was a super time and shows what a great bunch of people we associate with when we go racing on Saturdays!

I managed to defend my 350 Title quite easily
with Tim Sheedy second and Chris Marshall third. The 500 race was a little different. I got pinched at the start and Marshall got away clean but I was past the 500s by the chicane of the first lap and the race was on. I was catching chris steadily each lap and after the halfway point I passed on the exit of turn one and then preceeded to overcook the horseshoe and let him underneath me. I followed till we hit the banking and got underneath him... this went on till the last lap when I got drafted to the line... oh well - he was the first one to give me the thumbs up after I won the 350 race so I was happy for him.
