Man I sure do miss the days of the SBR Vs Arclights.

Then last year you had the Paramount vs AOD MSB rivalry. Who is it going to be this year. As I see it the only chance is a Vesrah Pennzoil battle. I hear there was a little trash talk at TWS. Somebody stir the pot.

From what I hear there is a little freindly tension between Bent Racing and Team Choas in the MSS class. Although Bent Racing came out on top at TWS which is their home track things will be moving east to the likes of Team Chaos. Stay tuned to see what happens.
My money is on Team Chaos!!!

So Chuck. You ready to go again or have you simply had enough?

I liked being in the pits at Texas. All I need is radio communication with scoring and the pit board and I'll be all set.

It was cool getting to work with the SBR defectors, too. (Szarek and C. Semoff)

Let's play pit-stop chess, shall we?

Yeah Doolin - radios to scoring are allowed, we have a nifty scoring system that will send the currernt results straight to a tv in your pits - more info makes for more thinking just adding more excitement to JU's chess game http://www.wera.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Once again I'm pretty sure this was another case of operator error mixed in with normal Windows BS (I left the damn screen saver on). Luckily the upgrade of the program we bought this off season has an automatic backup function. The next upgrade will save any laps it can't send to the computer in the decoder box so the teams that got screwed by not having scorers might not get screwed next time (although we will always run human backups, if it's good enough for NASCAR it's good enough for us).

No worries mate, I'm just having some fun. http://www.wera.com/ubb/smile.gif Though the transponder bit cost us a place, it's not like you weren't clear about what the deal was before the race started. I made a decision and got bit. That upgrade sounds like a good thing, what's the ETA on that?

The giant endurance pit board has already been dug out of the shop and prepared for transfer to the CU rig. It will be ready at TGPR.

Hey, remember that time Glenn was leading at IRP and then ran off the track? He was watching my board so I started screwing with the numbers to make him think we were gaining. It apparently worked.

So was I just ahead of my time when I tried using radios in '94, '95, & '96 (along with data acquisition)? Pretty sure they were (or became) illegal back then. I can't really take credit for it. It was all Bruce's idea. Yeah that's it, it was Bruce's fault.

Highsides look cool on a rear suspension travel vs time plot.......
