Have you ever considered the life of a BBS Thread?
Some Newbie posts something like:
Mongo, When is the 2038 schedule going to be ready?
As a little embryo it starts to grow. It splits and splits and splits again, first you get all the smartasses blasting the NEWBIE with Sarcastic Responses. Then you get the smartasses blasting the other smartasses because their sarcastic remarks aren't as cool as other sarcastic responses. Then you get some immature poster that's got to say boobies and it grows and grows and grows somemore. A few more immature posters show examples of boobies, then some frigid poster has to complain about the boobies and the lack of the of a NWS disclaimer. Then the sarcastic crew rolls back in to blast the frigid poster. Then one day unexplicably it goes away?
Can someone explain the meaning of threadlife to me?

Get a new boss. Every time there is a boobie thread, I call mine over to look (He owns the dealership). It gets him out of his foul mood more often than not.

The main computer in the office came down with something and the General Manager got on my case after the Parts Manager stabbed me in the back (I'm fixing her ass tomorrow!). I explained that I do most of my surfing on the Warranty Clerk's computer and that it was clean. Turns out that it came from eBay (Dealership owner's fault! :D )
