FS: 2007 Red Ducati 1098

Well i looks like am going to sell my bike, got to much going on with the new company i have started and no time to ride.

-2007 Red 1098 (Second owner), I bought the bike with around 6000 miles

-7850 Miles, all service up to date and done by Great Bay Ducati/Triumpth in New Hampshire and Champion Ducati here in Charleston SC

-300 miles Oil/filter...900 miles oil/filter/600 mile service...1600miles starter/starter motor/flywheel/ECU/Battery/alternator....2500 miles oil/filter...3700 miles oil/filter...5000miles oil/filter...6800 miles oil/filter/clutch fluid/new front and rear tire...6900 miles new rear sprocket(ducati recall), chain tightened/lubed. Voltage Reg replaced.

-I have the stock clutch cover, manuals, 2 sets of keys and a master key that has the bike identification# in it so keys can be duplicated

-Bike is completely stock except for and open clutch cover and Carbon tank pad

I'm in a similiar situation selling my monster. Seems lately that people expect sellers to wholesale their stuff. Even if they have the money and are not affected by the economy they jump on the bandwagon. I got fed up of crackhead people coming to look at my bike and offering me $2500 less of my firm asking price. Hold out if you can, nice bike and well worth it. Don't give it to anyone, nobody gave it to you!:beer: Good luck man

It's a Buyer's Market people! If you want to sell it, you're going to have to bring the price down, probably below your comfort level. Or you could just keep it and sell it when the market gets better... for the same price you could sell it for today. As a seller it sucks, but it is what it is.

It's a Buyer's Market whether you want to whine about it or not. We're not trying to get you to drop the price because we can't afford it. We know that there's someone out there that IS willing to accept our offer. If that's not you, that's fine. You're well within your rights to keep your bike. Just don't get militant about it calling us crackheads when you're the one who doesn't understand what's going on with today's economy.

Stealerships have been dropping prices for years and recently going out of business. You're supposed to be immune? Get real or at absolute least quit your bitching.

As far as i am concerned i am not letting the bike go for less then $10,250 its not killing me to keep it i just figured i am not taking full advantage, so maybe sell.

The market is rough. Not a question. It just is. Things are getting wholesaled. IF YOU DON"T NEED TO DON'T SELL IT.

The only reason you would sell it in this market is to get out of the bike (for ANY reason). and that is like bait in the water for sharks looking for a steal.

My theory... (and i'm sure you don't care... ) If you bought your bike in the first place, remember why you bought it and love it for what it is (in your case a rare exotic, BEAUTIFUL, FAST, motorcycle).

Bottom line... DON'T SELL if you DON'T have too.

And if you have to well... it's like chum in the water... :(
