Alright - I'm not going to be back on the track this season, so I'm putting my track bike up for sale. I bought this bike off this forum in February, rode 1 weekend on the track, and about 300 street miles. I got the bike with about 600 miles on it, so there's under 1500 miles on the bike total. Bike was in a fire on the showroom floor, everything plastic was melted and the bike was sold as salvage to a member on this board. I bought the bike after hazan512 hurt his back in a wreck he had on it and decided to no longer race. Here's the original thread: http://forums.13x.com/showthread.php?t=200495
Bike: 2006 Yamaha R6
Title: Salvaged
Location: Rochester, MN
Here's what the bike had on it before I got it:
* 530 miles
* has been low-sided - body work is in primer now
* needs throttle position sensor to finish, will start and idle, just won't rev up
* Dyno at 115 HP on U4.2
* Full Leo Vinci carbon fiber exhaust
* 20 mil kit
* Penske Triple Clicker
* Set up for 200lb rider (reset for a 180 lb rider)
* Vortex rear set
* Vortex clip ons (these are actually woodcraft)
* Vortex sprockets (44, 45 on bike, 46, 47)
* Vortex gas cap
* Quick Shifter
* Power Commander
* Pit Bull Stablizer
* Vesrah pads - front and rear
* Shark Skin body work
* Fully safety wired
* Slipper Clutch
Here's what I did to the bike:
* Got it revving
* Added new OEM Blue 07 street bodywork (street)
* PUIG DB Dark Smoke windscreen (street)
* Kickstand bracket, kickstand, turn signal switch(street)
* Radiator fans
* Fender eliminator, smoked integrated turn signals (street)
* Clear windscreen (track)
* Painted the SharkSkinz bodywork (done professionally with Sherwin Williams paint, track)
* Saved the U4.2 Map, uploaded a pump gas map to the PCIII
* Woodcraft frame sliders (street bodywork not yet cut for the pucks, track)
* Replaced fork seals, fork oil, and dust covers (5/09)
* Suspension was dialed in for my weight (180lbs, 5/09) by Lithium Motorsports
* I replaced the front pads with EBC HH Pads (5/09)
* Replaced the vortex rearset brackets
I'm looking for $7300 for everything and I'll throw in front (triple tree) + rear stands, another set of forks (minus the caps + one outer tube)
For $6500 I'll keep the stands, extra forks, street bodywork, PUIG DB, and kickstand (I use a different bracket for the track that holds the shift lever)
I'll also entertain any trades for a Supermoto, DRZ, etc.. PM me with any questions at all, any offers, etc.
