I bought this bike new in April of 2006 and have put all the miles on it. I have done pretty much every modification I could think of on this bike. I have also had it professionally painted gloss black. This paint is flawless, look at the pictures, it shines like a mirror and is better than the factory paint. The only reason I had it painted is because I wanted a black SV, which they did not offer at the time of purchase.
This bike has been down and there is a picture of the exhaust that was slightly scratched. Other than that, I can think of no issues. The oil has just been changed with Rotella-T Synthetic 5w-40, which is arguably the best oil for motorcycles. It has also never been on the track, so the engine is going strong. This bike has always been garage kept. It has a clean title and I have a record and receipts of all maintenance performed.
