I purchased this bike over the winter as an impulse buy. Thing is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. Basically sat in storage for almost two years, never registered, never ridden. Originally built to be a show piece for some custom Ducati parts. Over $29,000 invested in bike, parts and paint job.

Bike comes with the original bill of sale form BCM Ducati. Bike has never been registered, you would be the first owner on paper.

Stored in my heated garage in Princeton, NJ. Photos do not do it justice.

Full details and high res picts and detailed info here:

Price lowered to $18,500

I also have a perfect set of red 1098s body work, lights, mirrors, fasteners, etc., I'll sell them with the bike for $20,500

I planed on putting this in my living room, so the tank is dry and ready to ship if needed. Forward Air requires a dry tank with no fumes, which can be a total pain in the ass. Coast to Coast shipping via Forward air is $600, and I'm willing to split the shipping costs. Closer locations are obviously less, and quote can be found on their Website (I use the bike off in Philly location)

Damn, Fred Bitner, my old track day mentor ;-)

All 1098s are the same engine. 09 has the 1198 motor (a few more HP), and a consumer grade traction control. The Tricolore was only available in 07, I believe between 300 and 500 were imported into the US.

Perfect bike for an ol' Duck man like yourself.

New Price: $18,500

or $20,500 with red bodywork and street gear.

You should put back the tricolore bodywork and sell it as a street bike - will likely sell in a few days at that price.

Didn't come with stock street bodywork, that was sold off before I got it. If I had it, the bike would go for much more $. The stock stuff is pretty expensive.

Best I have is a set of red 1098s body work.
