That is a pretty good price, I had sent out an email to Ryan asking about a snowflake design and I haven't heard back. If you can do that design would it be a part of the group buy?

How are the number plates done with vinyl? Do you have to buy an additional white piece as well?

How would you respond to the statement "three hundred bucks sounds like a lot of money for three sheets of adhesive vinyl"?
not trying to be a dick, but, well, it seems like a lot of money to me.
Thanks in advance.

number plates are vinyl, you can either use the white vinyl plates that are made for dirtbikes or I might be able to have a couple oval vinyl plates made up.

Unfortunately they aren't doing installs at this time, it should only take you one afternoon to get it installed yourself, and it is forgiving for the first day if you stick it down and need to lift it up, the adhesive gets stronger after about 48 hours.

you really wanted a response to that, I just thought you had your underwear pulled up too tight, how bout this, go to a store, buy some cheap vinyl and see what it looks like on your bike, then when your done messing up your fairings, come back to me buy the right stuff and some new fairings and get the job done correct

I believe it was the Safety First bikes that use wraps on their body work rather than paint. They looked pretty good going around the track. I was impressed with what they could do and how they ended up looking.

How about you take a few seconds to explain to the ignorant layperson (me, and maybe others) what makes your product better? :)
I haven't priced out vinyl sheeting from my local graphics guy, so maybe it's not as expensive as I thought, but we had a 4'x6' 4-color company logo thing made up for less than $100.
Like I said, I wasn't trying to be a dick.

your getting about that same size, 4'x4' piece of vinyl, this vinyl is designed to be replaceable (which normal vinyl pieces aren't) there has been numerous months of R&D on the glue to give it the characteristics that are needed to wrap the bends and curves on the bikes. It has a protective glossy or matte coating over the first layer of vinyl to give it more protection and better life. Hopefully this helps.

good point... I didn't think about the vinyl having to be different so it could conform to all the nooks and crannies on a sportbike.
Thanks for teh info!

Can you do a checkerboard pattern? Just a basic black and white with 1" squares.

I just installed this on my r6 tank. It was my first attempt at wrapping and took a little under an hour. It's easy once you get the hang of it, and you can take it off and heat it up and it will go back to it's original shape if you didnt get it the way you wanted it the first time. It's very forgiving and NOT a regular piece of vinyl, which is why it's more expensive than a "normal" sheet of 4'x4' vinyl.

Have y'all done any testing to see how it holds up on a dirt bike? I *hate* the available graphics kits, and recently bought plain Jane black bodywork, but it still has the stock yellow tank. I've heard that you have to be careful with what kind of vinyl you put on a plastic tank since the plastic will "breathe" fumes a little and cause bubbles. I'd be willing to be a test guinea pig if you'd like :)
