Whats the milage? I didn't realize you were located in MI....much closer than I thought!

The papers say 10xxx but the odo works and says 3xxx so I'm not 100% sure if there was a type-o or something. It doesnt look like there were that many miles on it. Bike is covered untill 2013 by Honda as well!

does the "FL scrap title" affect the honda warranty coverage until 2013 any? can such a title be converted to rebuilt in a different state? my limited research indicates it is no longer title-able in FL at least. also curious on estimated shipping to des moines, iowa.

I dont know about titles in IA, but I know I can convert it here in MI to a rebuilt/builders title. The status of the title will not affect warranty coverage, we as dealers have no way of looking up status of a title, and no where in Honda's warranty book does it state that a title must be clear and clean to be covered. You'll be good :) shipping to IA would probably be around 3 to 4 hundred. May be able to arrange something with you though if you want to meet somewhere in the middle.

Well, I am the owner of a Honda dealership, and at no time have we ever been asked the status of the title when filing a clame. And, when punching the bike up on Honda's network under "unit information" it lists "hpp: active - 05/15/13" and "ras: active -5/15/13" HPP is Honda Protection Plan, and RAS is Road Side Assistance.

I just read through our Dealer Guide and Warranty Guide and at no time did it mention status of a title of the unit to be covered. Thank you for your concern, however I have looked into the matter and it is fine. I also put a call into my DSM (dealer service manager) and he also confirmed this for me. Please edit your post as to not scare potential buyers. Thank you.
