Wow, this year has started off bad. I lost my job December 27th, and today my wife found out her's is on shaky ground. We financially prepared for the loss of one income, but not two... so I need to try and move a few things.
2004 CBR1000RR. Beautiful new paint, never been ridden on. Ohlins 20mm kit just redone by Superbike Italia, Ohlins rear. Akrapovic Ti pipe with CF canister. Adjustable rearsets, braided lines and roll-a-click lever. Pit Bull damper, PCIIIR tuned by KWS. Good Pirelli's on it, spare rim with brand new rear included.
Bike was originally raced by Kenny Rodriguez in WERA and AMA Superstock races. Bike is excellent all around, cant think of a single complaint. Bike was never titled, I have the MSO.
I would really like to get $5000 out of the bike, but a reasonable offer would be entertained. Bike located in Huntsville, AL. PM here if you have questions.
Edit: My picture links dont seem to be working, but will post soon. Bike painted red/white/blue ala Larry Pegrams CBR1000RR's. Blank yellow number plates.

Oh,I'm sorry I thought I mentioned it in my original post. The bike has never been titled, I have the original MSO (certificate of origin) from Honda. As for mileage I can only guess, the gauges are not original. Figure two seasons with a fairly serious WERA/AMA guy, and maybe 4 track days since. Thats the best I can say. Overall pretty low miles I'm sure.

Well, in short there's nothing street on the bike. You'd need to at least add lights, signals, mirrors etc. I wouldnt bet that the wiring harness is still complete for all that. It might be, but I've never looked.
Anyway, I should have pics up later today.

quick shift?
what LBS is the susp set for?

No quick shifter, but it would be easy to do. Suspension setup (by Superbike Italia, dialed in an Barber) for 210lbs geared up.
CBR1000RR's have kind of a bad rap from not wanting to turn in quickly, but that aint the case here. SBI got it working really good for me.

Thanks! Were ok right now, but if she loses her job and one of us doesnt pick up a decent job fairly quick, things could get ugly. Selling this bike is more premptive planning than anything.

Scott, I saw on the "other forum" about you losing your job......I'm very sorry to hear of that, and especially how it happened. I hope you find something soon and that your wife doesn't lose her's too.
Good luck with the sale.
BTT for a nice guy!
