First off, this bike does not belong to me. It belongs to a buddy of mine, since he doesn't really know too much about this stuff I offered to help him sell it(after all I pressured him into buying it so I would have somebody else to do trackdays with me :D). I have done all the work on the bike. When he bought the bike back in March of 2008 he wanted me to freshen it up, so that's exactly what I did. I flushed the brake fluid out and refilled it with DOT 5 fluid, replaced the brake pads(Galfer HH pads), mounted a new set of Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's, flushed the radiator and refilled it with Water Wetter, changed the oil and filter, cleaned and re-oiled the air filter(K&N), replaced the grips, and cleaned/lubed the chain. He went with me to one trackday at Barber in April of 2008 and that was the only time he rode it. While we were there he had Ken from Superbike Suspension set the suspension up for him. This was his first day on the bike as well as his first trackday, but he said that bike was handling great and felt strong. (he is used to riding an 07 ZX6R on the street) After seeing some of the paint jobs I did for myself and others and decided soon after we got back from Barber that he wanted his done as well. The bike has sat in my garage under a cover since I finished painting it and has not been ridden other than that one trackday at Barber (except for me cranking it up every now and then and putting around my neighborhood just to get it running periodically) Recently he has decided to sell it because he is currently a senior at the Citadel and is contracted with the Navy, so after he graduates he will be all over the place with Navy training...basically he has no time to use it, so rather than let it sit in my garage forever he just wants to give it a new home. If you have any questions please feel free to call me anytime on my cell at 803-530-4063 (Brandon)

Bump for this bike - it looks like a really good one. I have an '04 R6 and it's a blast for track days. Looks like a Hindle race exhaust to me. Good luck

okay my buddy finally trackded down the guy he bought the bike from ...so heres the news on the title:

the bike was bought with light damage from an auction. the guy bought the bike to use soley as a trackbike. for whatever reason he sold the original frame and the title and replaced it with a new "blank" frame from yamaha (which aparently doesn't come with a title or vin number). that is why the bike doesn't have a title. if you have any questions like i stated above please give me a call at 803-530-4063 or send me a pm.
thanks,
brandon
