It's time to part with my Z. I've enjoyed this bike for 3 years and now it's time for something with fairings. It has almost 22,000 miles on it. It's in great shape. It's been very well prepared. I can sell it in various different configurations depending on the price one wants to pay. I'll list mods and parts:
Full CF Muzzy
PCIII FUEL and IGNITION
Black 04 636 forks custome valved and sprung by Aftershocks
Black 08 GSXR calipers with new EBC HH pads
Gold 06 636 forks with race fender painted to match
Gold 636 calipers with farodo sintered grip pads
Penske tripple rear shock
05 636 rear shock valved by Aftershocks
636 rear linkage
Hyperplated Aluminum lightned clutch plates
One tooth down on front spocket
2 Stealth rear sprockets (aluminum with steel teeth) (one stock, one 1 down)
Z750 lighter front rotors
Galfer wave rear rotor
Custom rear sets
Custom handlebars
Tall zero gravity windscreen
Scott's steering damper
various rear srings for different weights
Spare set of red wheels for track including rotors and race tires
Stomp grip on tank
Custom leather seat cover
Bar end mirrors
GSXR600 passenger pegs
The bike weighs right at 450 lbs, with half a tank of gas! I've shared this custom PCIII map with people around the country and it flat works. It is simply the best map out there. The suspension is also very well sorted for comuting or track. I've had the valve adjustment at 15,000 miles. I just changed the pan gasket and checked and cleaned the pan. All looked good. It doesn't burn oil. The engine and transmission still feel and work like tip top shape. This bike also works well for 2 up riding. I added tabs to the subframe to bolt up GSXR600 passenger pegs. This way I can delete them for 1 up riding or add for 2 up. This saves lots of weight from the stock rearsets/pegs. The stockers can still be used if you like. I also re-shaped and added foam to the rear passenger seat.
I don't know what price to state because I'm not sure what parts or set up anyone would choose. I'm guessing anywhere from $3700-$6000 depending on final stuff included.
Please call me and lets discuss it. (805)216-1118 cell (805)989-8585 daytime
