I have a 1998 ZX6R clean title in hand, I got this bike thinking I would use it for a cheap endurance bike for next year but I've decided to get back in to the vintage stuff so here it is. Its in white primer now and I'm asking $2200, or if you want a one color paint job I can probably sell it for $2600.
here is what it has
penske double adjustable shock
traxxion forks (not sure what was done)
CFM rear sets
clip-ons
after market fariring bracket
hindle full pipe
sharskin body work
steering damper
EBC rotors
Nissin 6 piston calipers
spare wheels and rotors
and don't forget a clean title. Lance lancey@pa.net 717-360-1805

I have to say Lance & crew did the paint. We did the frame, decals, and the rest. As Lance told us, its a "5 foot" paint job...looks great from 5 feet. But its perfect for a track ho.

Bike looks good from when I owned it. Watch the brakes. When you grab them they will stop REAL good.Hope to see you at the track soon. What will be your first track day?

Oh one other thing. Make sure you put a scratch on it before you go to the track, or you will be putting a bigger one on it. I know from experience. Just my 2 cents.
Al, is that my old bike?
Wow!!!

No doubt! Not sure on the first day yet, I've need to get employed again! Hopefully I'm turning the corner soon, I have a few things going right now.

It still has some. The frame is sprayed with the engine still in it. My brother just masked everything off real good. We'll have to see how well it holds up. All I know is that its a hell of alot easier and cheaper than pulling the engine and all the other stuff and then powdercoating.
We just wanted to clean it up best we could on a beer budget. We are happy with it and I that's all that really matters I suppose.

Can you guys help us out on what springs are in the forks (.95?) and what lb. spring is on the Penske. We are both big guys (me 240, brother 280) so we are pretty positive that its gonna be way undersprung for us.
Also, has this bike been on the dyno? We were told it has cam work and is a 99 engine. We are guessing 100-110 HP.

I believe it is sprung for a 180lbs rider. I'm 240 and raced it the way it is. From what I remember it wasn't bad. The thing would tend to want to swap ends under severe braking. {Think turn 5 at Barber.} It's a '00 motor. No clue on power but I do think it was SS built.
I've still got some odds and ends for it. OEM windshield, OEM case cover, maybe a clip on or two. They're yours free if you want it.
I've got a soft spot for the ol' girl. Took WERA race school and did my first race on it. All the guys that rode it loved it.

Paint or powder coat on the frame?

Rattle can. It some decent quality Dupli-color I believe. My brother picked it up at an automotive store, like $8-9 a can. He just taped everything off real good to avoid overspray. He removed the subframe and swing arm to paint those as well as the gauge mount. He did a really good job. He also did our spare wheels and they look great. Obviously it just won't be as durable as powdercoat, but for what it cost....who cares?!

Memories of endurance 2003. Man, we loved that bike! Beat the crap out of it and it never missed a beat. Handled great - only dragging the fairing limited it. I remember hitting the inside curbing at barber first time out as it turned so much faster than my Honka. Didn't know it was up for sale or I might have bought it. Good job with the paint guys!

Damn, I need to get back out there...

yeah, Lance was gonna run it in endurance but too many other projects going on. Its running great, I actually ran it down the street today in the neighborhood just to get it out. Starts right up first time and really brakes quick. My brother said he was goofing around on it earlier and pulled the front up all the way down the street and then picked up the rear a bit stopping....squid!

Yea you better watch the front brakes. Hell when you got that much money in them, they better stop good.
