Hi guys,
I usually would not do this but a buddy of mine had his third child this week and some things have come up that force him to sell his beloved 1098 quickly. Just suffice it to say that there have been some medical problems that arose after the birth that will force his wife to quit her job and stay home with little Kate.
On to the bike. It is a 2007 1098 base model that has lots of upgrades and is in perfect shape mechanically and cosmetically. Here is what I know of it.
7000 miles
Full Termignoni 70mm exhaust system w/ecu that sounds awesome!
Vortex rearsets black
Pazzo shorty levers black
CF front fender
CF instrument cover
SSR gas cap black
Tapeworks white number plates front/rear
Brand new BT002's with only 1 track day on them
520 sprocket/chain conversion AFAM 15/45 gearing I think
Vented clutch cover
I have ridden this bike several times and it never ceases to thrill me. I have tried everything I can to try and buy it myself, but it is just not feasible right now.
I know one thing is for sure don't let the cheap price fool you, this is an immaculate bike and worth every penny if not more. If it weren't for the before mentioned medical condition he would not be selling it and definitely not this cheap. All he wants to do is pay off his loan and move on. The KBB value fo this bike stock is $13.5k and with the Termis and other add-ons we can probably agree that the realistic value is $15k or more. This is someones chance to pick up a sweet 1098 well below what it should sell for.
As a favor to my freind and to try and move this thing quickly I will deliver it up to 250 miles from Cincinnati, OH for free if someone wants the bike but cannot transport it.
