Okay, I'm not a regular over here lately, but I was given the heads up that you guys might be interested in this for the Sippy Cup series.

For Sale: 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250

It's time to let the little ninjette go! She has definitely been a blast, but I've got some other plans for Sarah and I and what comes in the garage next.

This bike is in great condition and has never been dropped or crashed. It's pretty much stock except for the windscreen was blacked out from the inside (looks good), and the obnoxious stock fend was cleaned up. It has 7500 miles and runs great!

Compared to the earlier generation 250's that I've spent considerable time on also, this thing handles like a dream. The suspension is actually pretty decent (for a basic bike) and I had to back the rear shock off as it was too stiff at the highest setting for me. You can definitely throw this thing into the corners with ease. It has a bit more mid range grunt for off the line and easily carries my 215lbs butt just fine, even riding down the interstate is no problem. The brakes are sweet and its a blast riding. Gas mileage is good like you would expect on a 250 (probably not a concern if you are racing it! :D).

I have a clean title in my hand. The original purchaser also purchased the Kawasaki Good Times Protection warranty. The bike its self is still under warranty from Kawi till 04/02/09. The Good Times Protection Plan takes it to 04/02/12, so thats over 3 more years of warranty.

This bike came with BT45's which are dual compound tires and pretty decent. (Most of the 250's I've seen have Dunlops, so I thought that was cool. The rear is original and still good, but it's definitely showing wear. The front is still good as you would expect.

I'll get some better pictures when I clean her up, but here are some from different rides.

The '09 250's are $3999-$4,099 MSRP (http://www.kawasaki.com/products/product-specifications.aspx?id=359) and they didn't change a thing on them.

Price: $3200

Don't worry the back seat is still intact. I bought a 2nd spare seat to mount the givi case too.
