Street Legal Mini Street Fighter

Bought the bike in July 2008 with 500 miles and it ran fine. I have gotten it to 60+ mph. For whatever reason the charging system on it is not working. It can be something as simple as the stator or regulator. No one can get it figured out and I am frustrated. Bike starts and runs fine but will not stay charged. If you are familiar with the electrical components of a motorcycle then this is the perfect bike for you as it is a real head turner! It has a BRAND NEW, Thumpstar Engine, Voltage regulator, battery purchased from Broward Motorsports, Kitaco pipe, headlight, petcock and shock. Also came with a Mikuni carb. I have $827 invested in the bike and all parts including the engine has less than ONE hour on them since I never got the charging system to work.
