Well, one of the very first anyway.
1999 SV650, this was Zoran's original SV that he did all the race
development work on. One of only two bikes he ever made with the
braced swingarm! It's been down only a couple of times since 1999
(believe it or not). Once in 1999, once in 2005 by the previous owner,
and once by me. All were very low speed lowsides (I rode the bike back
and replaced the clutch lever before going back out). This bike has
never had even a moderately hard crash.
2005 gsxr 600 front end ('busa wheel) with fully updated Aftershocks
internals plus one-of-a-kind Ohlins rear shock from an AMA ZX7RR
superbike. I've since replaced the spring in back with a brand new
Eibach from Aftershocks. I weigh about 220lbs and it is setup
perfectly for me.
Other stuff:
gpr rotary damper
F3 rear wheel conversion
19mm Braking radial master cylinder
Braking CM66 pads
Braking Wave Rotors
R6 radial calipers (the brakes on this bike are AWESOME)
CFM clip ons
MotionPro MX clutch lever
MotionPro cables all around
Attack rearsets
Keihin FCR 41 carbs
New (3 race weekends) AFAM chain & front/rear sprockets plus brand new
extra sprocket.
Yoshimura headers with a Leo Vince titanium exhaust can.
1/5 turn throttle
New Daytona temp gauge
Factory Pro covers with integrated sliders
New subframe (one year old)
Sharkskins in pretty good condition
The motor on this bike is about as fresh as possible. The crank broke
on my last motor so I purchased this current motor from a salvage yard
with 1100 miles on it! Zoran put my existing modified top end on this
new bottom end and I ran it one season like that. Then, this past
winter, I had Zoran do a complete refresh on the entire motor
including a couple new gears in the tranny and a new-generation SV
shift star. It's had 3 race weekends and just a couple track days
since the refresh. The motor has the heavily reworked heads on the new
bottom end, it has cams, springs, and totally ported/redone headwork.
It puts out around ~80hp. Zoran has done all the motor work on this
bike and can verify. The motor has maybe 2500 miles on it.
While I had the motor out for the refresh last winter, I decided to
add a little bling to the bike too. I took the bike completely
apart to every last bolt and had the entire frame and swingarm cleaned
and powder coated in "Silver Vein" color with an extra layer of clear
powder coat over that. It looks awesome and is extremely tough. While
it was apart I also replaced the swingarm and shock linkage bearings.
This really is one of the nicest set up and RELIABLE SVs anywhere.
Also have a few spares including the first motor (good for spare parts).
Take a look at the pics at the link below. You'll see the tank is
missing... it was off getting fixed with Zoran. Ordinarily, the front of the
tank is mounted on top of a couple of swingarm spools to allow extra
air to get into the velocity stacks. Over time, though, the tabs on
the front of the tank crack and break. So, Zoran welded up a
reinforced plate so it won't happen again. I also included some pics from
the full takedown before the powder coat last winter. Keep in mind I'll also be
taking all the stickers off once the bike gets sold.
Quote from Zoran:
"There is no sv with bigger history than this one. I should have never sold it."
