my setup right now is an 05 gsxr 750 with 07 forks and the 05 rim doesnt line up right and need to remedy it with forks or a rim

it should align,wheel are same in that respect.

the wheels are but the axles arent . The 04/05 gsxr axle has a space built into both ends , the 06/07 axles has it only on 1 side. Even then the forks are slightly more narrow in the setup because the brake caliper has one really hard time mounting up. Its only 2-3mm of clearance but its enough to make it not work

you need to use right side spacer from 07 wheel.
