Bought this bike last winter from a guy in Springfield IL with ~400 miles on it. Took it to a few trackdays, and decided to buy a dedicated trackbike so I could get myself away from the crazy ass soccer moms that try to kill me every time I ride the street.
2006 GSX-R 1000
~2,700 miles
Spiegler Brake Lines
Poser (Pazzo) Levers
Vortex Rearsets
T-Rex Frame Sliders
T-Rex Delrin Spools/Swingarm Sliders
Undertail Plate w/ LED Light
Fresh Set of Pirelli DCIIIs
Stompgrip
R1 Throttle Tube
Bike is very clean and well-maintained. I changed the oil after every trackday (the oil as been changed 4 times over the last 2300 miles), clean and lube the chain, etc.
I did kiss the pavement (embarrassingly low speed) at Calabogie going through the 'Duck Bill', and I have included a detailed photo of the total damage that occurred... it's a ~2" spot of rash on the right side fairing. Being that the fairing is black, the spot is very hard to see unless you know it's there, and even then it isn't noticable. There were also some small scratches on the muffler, slider, and footpeg... but being a little OCD, I replaced all those items.
I also removed the exhaust valve servo when I replaced the muffler (and didn't notice a damn bit of difference) and pulled the appropriate wire, so you won't get an FI light when you decide to put an aftermarket exhaust on it.
I have the Clean and Clear Title in hand.
