For sale is a 2007 GSX-R1000. The motor is Superstock Legal and was built by Tom Houseworth (Ben Spies' crew chief). The motor was just freshened up (pistons, bearings, etc.) and only has one race weekend on it. This bike was only raced the 2008 season by Chris "Opie" Caylor. Here are the details:


Raced, maintained, and won on by Opie Caylor
Engine built by Tom Houseworth (Ben Spies' Crew Chief)
Engine has Yoshimura Adjustable Cam Sprockets
EMPro tuned by Marietta Motorsports
Ohlins 25MM cartridges by Thermosman
Ohlins TTX shock by Thermosman
Ohlins extended fork caps by Thermosman
BMC air filter
Dynojet Quickshifter
Vesrah brake pads
Vortex sprockets
Vortex rearsets
Dunlop D211's
Pit Bull spools
Galfer steel braided brake lines
Zero Gravity shield
Brand New E-racing bodywork with SBK tail
DID 520 ERV3 chain
M4 full exhaust system
Engine freshened right before GNF

With the sale of this bike will come the following Spares

(1) Used, but never crashed painted e-racings bodyset with tank
(1) front wheel assembly, complete
(1) rear wheel assembly, complete
(2) stock fairing brackets
(2) stock left handlebars
(2) stock right handlebars
(1) new HPS left side engine cover (stator side)
(1) freshly serviced fuel pump
(1) clutch lever

beautiful bike. House does good work! any dyno charts/numbers? I have found that helps at times. My guess is 188ish

I will need to talk to Ope and see what the actual dyno numbers were on it, but I seem to recall that it cracked the 190's, although I am not 100% positive. As soon as I can find out the details, I will post.

By the way, one thing that I forgot to list was that there is also an additional swingarm with this bike, in addition to all of the other extras listed.

Bump for a sweet bike! If I wasn't in Iraq right now I'd start selling stuff to get it. I know someone who is looking for a bike, but he is looking for one that can pull double duty as a street/weekend trackbike. Hope it sells soon for you!
